Personal #3: Question for discussion: What is a browser?

Take a look at this YouTube video: What is a browser?  This is a great example of on the street interviews.

A post from the Six Pixels of Separation blog by Mitch Joel, titled: Nobody Knows What You’re Talking About, puts the video in context related to marketing and public relations.

“You know what you do so well, that you have a hard time relating and explaining it to those (the majority of people) who don’t know/do what you do.”

I encourage everyone to read the blog post and watch the video.  What do you think? How do you communicate and position a message in a way that “the average man on the street” can understand? How do you break-down complex information? Furthermore, how do you get the messages to stick and gain top of mind awareness?
